JOURNEY OF JEWELS
empowerment conversations with Dr. Tammi Love
Nairobi, Kenya

The theme of the conversation was “Write the Vision: God Speaks to His Daughters,” centered on Matthew 15:21–28. Journey of Jewels Nairobi Coordinator Irene Makusi opened with an illustration and meditation on the text. Dr. Tammi Love led a deeper discussion, encouraging women to see themselves in the passage and recognize God’s voice when He speaks.

Creative expression sealed the moment as guest artist Seraye Bray painted her interpretation of the Canaanite woman, incorporating insights from the group. Participants added finger strokes to the woman’s head wrap as a symbol of healing and freedom, and one woman took the finished piece home.

JOURNEY OF JEWELS
Journey of Jewels (JOJ) Women’s Empowerment Program Is led by Dr. Tammi Love, an initiative that uplifts women through empowerment conversations, mentorship, and leadership development. JOJ encourages women to embrace their voice, vision, and vocation—most recently showcased in Nairobi during the Journey of Jewels Women Empowerment Conversations.​

Journey of Jewels, an empowerment movement, reflects Dr. Love’s intentional work to help readers actively uncover the jewels within their own journeys. This movement includes Hump Day Helpers, Monday Motivations, inspirational writings and designs, workshops, conferences, encouraging videos, meditation scriptures, action plans, and shout-outs—all wrapped in a touch of humor, handled with finesse, and poured out in love.
We believe our lives are richest when we reach out and transform the lives of others, giving God all the glory.
